Christy Jones
Christy’s how-to articles have been published in Sew Simple, Soft Dolls & Animals and The Cloth Doll magazines. She has been a sewing enthusiast for more than ten years, and she especially enjoys designing cheerful and colorful dolls, puppets, and other creations. She also wrote, illustrated, and published a how-to book on puppet costumes that won Best of Show from the Willamette Valley Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication in 2000.
Christy has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics and a Master's degree in Technical Writing. Over the past ten years, she has worked as a freelance indexer and proofreader for university textbooks and trade books, indexed manuals for a high-tech consulting firm, and worked as a quality assurance reviewer and desktop publisher for a translation company. She has also worked as a marketing intern at a small press.
She has been a vegan for 14 years.
